San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus Logo Refresh

Judy Garland once sang the second most performed song by the chorus... "San Francisco"

"...Tell me you're the heart of all the golden west, San Francisco. Welcome me home again. I'm coming home to go roaming no more."

This song speaks of San Francisco as a destination, a place to call home.

For many, the chorus is a destination, a home. Audiences come to watch SFGMC sing to be "home for the holidays". Members come sing with us to be with their new chosen family.

The Golden Gate Bridge provides the connection between where one was "roaming" to a place where one is welcomed home

------------

This logo is to our members/audience as the yellow brick road was to Dorothy. It shows a path/a bridge leading to San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus as if it were a destination and eventually home.

The perspective gives it a sense of movement. This is different from you typical static "postcard" image of the bridge.
